Ticket to Ride (formerly Offering) is the debut album of The Carpenters released in 1969. Ticket to Ride only spawned one single, "Ticket to Ride", that only reached #54 on the Billboard Hot 100. Ticket to Ride was unique musically, because Karen's voice wasn't as refined as it became. The album was of a considerably different style, with more rock than pop.
